Upper Blepharoplasty
Upper blepharoplasty removes extra skin and tissue on the upper eyelids that contribute to sagging and drooping of the eyelids. While most often performed on patients over 40, some younger patients may benefit from the procedure. Beyond the cosmetic effects, blepharoplasty surgery can also improve vision and overall function of the eyes in certain situations.
Lower Blepharoplasty
From a technical standpoint, a lower blepharoplasty is a skin removal surgery. However, the amount of skin removed will vary widely. Additionally, Dr. Jindal may remove or reposition fat to create a more youthful look and avoid a hollowed appearance. Hollowing can happen when the skin and/or tissue is over resected.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
Over time, due to a variety of factors including slowed collagen production, sun damage, and genetics, the brows can begin to descend or sag. This can affect just the brow area or the entire forehead. While there are several options to address this, a brow lift is often considered the most effective when treating a more than mild case.
Facetite
Facetite is a radiofrequency device that goes above and underneath the skin to tighten the skin and tissues. Along with radiofrequency, it utilizes heat internally and externally. The device consists of an out node that is gently moved across the face. Through tiny incisions in the skin, Dr. Jindal inserts a flexible rod attached to the base. A node slides across the surface of the skin above the rod underneath it.
Facelift
A facelift is a facial plastic surgery that repositions and elevates the sagging muscles and fat pads in the face while removing the excess skin for a more youthful appearance. With age, your skin loses laxity and begins to sag and bunch up. A facelift resolves this along the jawline, jowls, and chin. It may also sometimes correct up to the midface and down to the neck.
Neck lift
A neck lift is an anti-aging surgery similar to a facelift, but it focuses primarily on the skin of the neck and the platysma muscle. This corrects sagging skin, descended fat, and muscle laxity which can all occur due to age. Much like a facelift, it creates a more youthful looking contour and may improve the appearance of the facial profile.
Facelift With Neck Lift
Facelift and neck lifts are technically two separate procedures. A facelift addresses the lower third of the face by removing extra skin and tightening up the tissues. A neck lift does the same for the neck area. However, for both of these surgeries, it almost always spills over into the other area.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a specialized radiofrequency microneedling procedure that encourages skin tightening, collagen production, and cell regeneration. It is completely non-surgical and non-invasive. RF microneedling treatments like Morpheus8 are considered to be more effective than traditional microneedling alone.
Facial Liposuction
From a procedure standpoint, facial liposuction is essentially the same as liposuction anywhere else on the body. However, the smaller scale, unique aesthetics, and precise anatomy of the face make this a much more complicated procedure than liposuction on larger body areas.
Surgical hair restoration
Hair transplant is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the 'donor site', to a thinning part of the scalp known as the 'recipient site'. In this minimally invasive procedure, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to thinning (like the back of the head) are transplanted into the thinning part of the scalp.
Facial Fat
Grafting
Fat cells on the body tend to collect in certain areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and hips much to the patient’s chagrin. When a patient loses fat in the face, but has fat elsewhere on the body, this can cause them to feel older than they are and disproportionate. Dr. Jindal can take extra fat from other parts of the body and transfer them to the face.
Mini Facelift
A mini facelift is essentially a miniaturized version of a traditional facelift. It is most often performed on patients in their forties and fifties who are not yet ready for a standard facelift. However, some older patients can see great results from mini facelift surgery. It uses smaller incisions and often eliminates the need for temporal or hairline incisions.
Deep Plane Facelift
Deep plane facelift Raleigh is a type of SMAS facelift that is becoming more prevalent in facial plastic surgery offices around the world. It is believed to offer more natural looking results while still lifting the skin and underlying muscle structures. Like other facelift procedures, a deep plane facial lift helps patients look years younger, often more than a decade younger than before surgery.
Asian Blepharoplasty
Around the world, popular plastic surgeries vary only slightly. Facelifts, tummy tucks, and breast augmentation are popular everywhere. However, for people of Asian descent, particularly East Asian descent, the most popular plastic surgery is double eyelid surgery. Sometimes known as Asian blepharoplasty, the procedure creates a crease in the upper eyelid to create what is known as a double eyelid versus a monolid where there is no visible crease when the eyes are open. The Jindal Institute For Youthful Aging (JIYA) performs the best double eyelid surgery Raleigh offers.
